Subsitute Members

In the event that a BNI Reading member cannot attend a weekly chapter meeting, substitutes are the recommended alternative to being listed as absent. Ideally substitutes should be people associated with the member concerned and/or their business (e.g. employees or family).

However, it is also an opportunity for BNI members from other chapters (preferably representing businesses not featured at Reading) to visit the chapter. Substitutes ensure that a Reading BNI member's business is still represented in their absence and, as a visitor, the substitute also gets an opportunity to promote their own services to the chapter.
